Eating food to stay alive is not enough. Particularly in today's world where there is so much junk food available. These clots appear in the veins of the rectum under the skin and are visible to the naked eye. They look like purple or bluish skin-covered veins that bulge out. External Hemorrhoids occur outside the anus and are thus visible. They can appear without any symptoms and when inflamed, appear red in color. Internal Hemorrhoids on the other hand occur inside the anus canal and cannot be seen from outside. Bleeding is the most common symptom of internal Hemorrhoids. A huge number of adults in the US are affected by Hemorrhoids, and most of them are males over 50.

What is a Healthy Diet?

This is not an easy question to answer. Because whet may be healthy to me may not be healthy to you. Our body structures differ and so our nutritional needs will also differ. So we need to plan by understanding our specific body needs. But a healthy diet can be defined as follows... A good and healthy diet should be able to reduce the risks of heart attack and stroke to the minimum. A healthy diet should generally include breads, potatoes and other cereals and must be rich in fruits and vegetables. It should also include milk and dairy products, meat and fish.

Can a Healthy Diet prevent Hemorrhoids?

Experts are of the opinion that a diet that has lots of fiber in it is healthy for Hemorrhoid cases. A person who is suffering also needs to also drink plenty of water and other fluids. Foods that are rich in fat, refined and processed foods and dairy products are known to cause constipation and thus should not be part of a healthy Hemorrhoid diet under any circumstances. Eating too much can also cause the situation to worsen. Fiber rich healthy diet usually has whole grains, whole wheat, beans, oatmeal and dried fruit & vegetables.
